The Aquarius Bottle Sling is designed to hold your drink bottle and essentials leaving you hands-free to enjoy meandering around markets, rainforest walks and adventures with your furry friend.
The Aquarius Bottle Sling features a large pocket to hold your favourite drink bottle (fits up to most 1Litre drink bottles), phone slip pocket, an essentials zipper pocket and a comfortable adjustable crossbody strap making this bag suitable for people of all shapes and sizes.
Finished Size: 10” High x 6.5” Wide x 5” Deep
Sewing Level: Advanced Beginner, some experience sewing zippers and curves is helpful

Exterior Bag Fabric:
- Cotton Duck, Denim or similar, ½ yard
Lining Bag Fabric:
- Waterproof Canvas/fabric, ½ yard
Exterior Pockets:
- Quilting weight cotton, 2 x fat quarters (or you will have enough of the exterior fabric above if you would like the exterior of your bag all in the one colour)
Webbing:
- I recommend 1.5” webbing for the crossbody strap on your bag it’s a comfortable width, 2 yards
Pre-Made Piping (Optional):
- Cotton piping: ¼” wide x 8” L
Interfacing:
- Interfacing requirements will vary depending how thick you want your bag and what fabrics you use for the exterior and lining of your bag:
- Light weight fusible woven interfacing (for exterior pockets): ¼” yard (optional)
Hardware:
- #5 bag zipper: 8” length
- #5 zipper pull: 1
- D Ring or Rectangle Ring or O Ring: 1 x 1.5”
- Strap Adjuster: 1 x 1.5”
- Swivel Clip: 1 x 1.5”
Notions:
- A seam roller may be handy
Seam Allowance: ¼” unless otherwise stated, pattern pieces include the seam allowance.
