Basic kit refers to the thickness of the paint, it is great for a starter because you can learn how to build the colours up and get an even coat.
Dense kit is a thicker paint and is for those who love a thicker paint and is confident in using Giardini.
The colours can be mixed with the white to make the shade as light as you need too or you can use them straight from the paint pot.
